How many patio heaters can be connected to one power group?
When purchasing a patio heater, it's wise to know how many appliances you can connect to a single circuit (fuse box). This prevents the fuse from blowing or your system from overloading.
How much can a generator handle?
A standard group in the Dutch meter box usually supplies 3,680 watts (3.68 kW) . This is because a group supplies 16 amps at 230 volts:
230 V Γ 16 A = 3,680 Watts
This means that the total of all devices on one group must remain below 3,680 Watts .

Do not use reels or extension cords unless they are rated for high power and are fully extended.
-
Consider a separate power group if you want to use multiple heaters at the same time.
